Grow where you a planted!

Welcome, today I have an accordion using my A6 Stamp, Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I love working with Kraft so this time around I showcased my Doodled Blooms on an inky background combining Distress Oxide Inks Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry. I love the pink with the Kraft.
I added some delicate stencilling to the background again using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink over the stencil.
I added some delicate touches of vintage book text along with some dots of paint. I also included a small tag with the wording Grow stamped and also incorporated some delicate splatters of white paint.
I added two layers to my flower for added dimension and included some cotton behind for added texture.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

It's Your Time To Bloom

Welcome, today I have something a little different. I found a heart box when cleaning my room and thought it was perfect for decorating to house a gift using my A4 Stamp Time Flies #143, combined with my A6 Stamp, Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I am quite please with how this turned out. I began by adding texture to my box with Texture Paste and then adding layers of paint using Distress Paints.
I added a stamped clay piece for my focal image which adds a wonderful textural element to my design along with added texture.
I adore the texture around the sides of my box and I added darker tones to the edges with a Distress Crayon.
I added two flowers stamped onto Kraft card and shaded with pencil to the top of my box and then sentiment worked perfectly with the imagery. I also included some Tissue Tape around the edges for added interest.
I incorporated a touch of stencilling using Autour de Mwa's Lotza Dotz Stencil, adding only touches here and there so as not to over power the background.
Art Pebbles have also been included, again to add further interest to the design along with some delicate splatters of white paint.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x

Flower Accordion

Welcome, today I have an accordion using my A6 Stamp, Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
I think the warm weather we are having is dictating my colour choices this week. I opted for a bright palette to start the week this time, using Dina Wakley Lemon, Tangerine and Magenta Acrylic Paints brayered onto my background.
I stamped each of my flower heads onto vintage book pages and added some white background stamping using my Border Stamp, which you can find HERE.
I also added touches of black with delicate black splatters and some scratchy lines using an old credit card and the black stickers echo those marks.
I also incorporated some doodling with my white gel pen.

Bloom

Welcome, today I have a card using my A6 Stamp, Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. Our stockists can be found HERE.
My background was created on my small Gel Press with Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints, Tangerine, Magenta and Lemon. I also added some detail with Autour de Mwa's stencil Lotza Dotz pressing the stencil onto my Gel Press.
I added two layers to my flowers to give further dimension and also created a pot from the same colours.
I added some touches of white and pink with my Gel Pens and also incorporated some touches of vintage book pages.
I added delicate splatters of black paint and added a pearl to the centre of each flower.

Bloom

Welcome, today I have a mini accordion, decorated using my A6 Stamp Doodled Blooms #140 from AALLandCreate. All products are available from our Stockists, which you can find HERE.

I love working with kraft card and today I am showcasing my Doodled Blooms stamp set in a monochromatic style. I began by applying a layer of Gesso over my card, applying randomly with a palette knife and then drying the Gesso with my Heat Tool.
I applied Black Soot Distress Ink to the Weathered Tiles #59 Stencil, spritzed with water and then placed the stencil, ink side down onto my Gessoed background. I then removed the stencil and dried the ink with my heat tool.
I stamped my Doodled Bloom onto white card and then coloured the stems lightly with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink. I then cut out each of the flowers and then spritzed with water, scrunched up each flower and allowed them to dry naturally before layring them together to give me a dimensional flower. I also added a bead for added interest.
I also added a small red heart for a pop of colour and added delicate splatters of paint.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment, I really appreciate your feedback. Tracy x x

Fresh Blooms

Welcome, today I have a card using my Doodled Blooms Stamp Set #140 from AALLandCreate.
I spent quite a few hours in my craft room creating projects for deadlines and this card was created from all my leftovers. I love creating with bits left on my desk and seeing where the creative flow takes me.
I was creating backgrounds with Infusions and I still had some ink left on my stencil, which I spritzed with water and then placed the stencil, ink side down onto my card and I love the subtlety of the stencilling on this.
I applied Fresco Finish Paints through a circular aperture, applying the paints with my finger, the colours really pop and coordinate perfectly with my subtle backdrop. I had some torn book pages on my desk and added a small piece to the base of my flower to ground my image.
I love the fresh feel to this piece and it's surprising what you can create from leftover bits and pieces.
Thanks so much for popping by and leaving a comment. Tracy x x

I have a fun card for you today using shaving foam combined with my Doodled Blooms #140 Stamp Set from AALLandCreate.
I am really enjoying using bright colours at the moment, they are so uplifting and this card was such fun to create.
I stamped my flowers onto my shaving foam background, cut them out and then adhered them together to give further dimension to my design. I love how these colours pop.
I have incorporated my trademark cotton thread behind my flower for furthter texture.
