Poppies

Popping by today to show you a couple of cards I made for Making Cards Magazine last month in the May edition.
I was absolutely thrilled that this card made the front cover of the May edition.
I love adding layers of colour to my designs.
And I love the glossy finish to the poppy heads.
This is the second card I made to coordinate with the first.
The text adds a touch more detail to the flower heads.
I also continued the design to the inside of the card.

    Wow, Tracy - I'm not surprised it made the cover, it's an absolute showstopper! Glorious glossy poppies and the inky shadings are stunning. Love the companion card too.
