Time To Celebrate

We have a new challenge for September with Katzelkraft, this time around the theme is COLOURS OF AUTUMN.
I opted for a masculine card this time around to celebrate my Brother in Law's birthday using the HOLOGE stamp plate. The background piece has been created using Distress Paints, applied to a non-stick craft sheet spritzed with water and then mopping up the paint with my card.
I had a tag on my desk which was my inspiration for this piece, I had used it a couple of weeks ago to mop up some Distress Paints from my craft sheet rather than just waste them. I think it was a combination of Peeled Paint , Rusty Hinge and Broken China . I also cut a smaller tag again coloured with Distress Paints and then added to the top of the stamped image for added dimension.
I added a monocle to the top, adding watch parts just behind the monocle for movement along with a Remnant Rub to the top. I also included label letters to add 'time to celebrate' to my card.
Mini sprockets have been added for further interest along with an arrow embellishment and tiny tab to the side of my card.
