Henna Mosaic

It's Friday so that means it is my day for Creative Expressions and today I am using a new stamp Henna Mosaic part of the Singles range.
I decided to create a flower for this week using the Henna Mosaic stamp. The background is created with Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink, applying the ink to a Non-Stick Craft Sheet and spritzing with water and then mopping the ink up with the card.  I am using the fabulous new Foundations Card 300gsm for all my inky work.
Background stamping has also been added using Fern Green Archival Ink and the background stamp from Tim Holtz Classics 9 Stamp Set.
I used a skewer to add a stem to my flower and added leaves using Wendy Vecchi's Stencils For Art 3 Flourishes, applying Fern Green Archival Ink through the stencil. GROW has been added to the side of the card using the Vintage Alphabet by Sam Poole.
One of my trademark twine bows has been added to the bottom of the stem along with a coordinated button for added dimension and interest.
I stamped the Henna Mosaic image onto the coloured card with Aquamarine Archival Ink and then stamped the Henna Mosaic stamp with Aquamarine and Fern Green Archival Inks onto white Foundations Card and cut out each layer and then added each layer one on top of the other to give me my dimensional flower. A coordinated button has been added to the centre of the flower.
I love the dimension from the flower. I also distressed the edges of the card with a pair of scissors.
Don't forget it is "Fun Time Friday" once again on the Creative Expressions Facebook page, simply leave a comment and you could be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
