Flower and Butterfly Tag

One of my DT pieces for this month is the fabulous Cosmic Shimmer Texture Paste Royal Gold, which adds wonderful texture and dimension to your creative pieces. I really enjoyed using this on my tag this week.
I applied the Royal Gold Texture Paste through the Flower and Butterfly Mask and then set aside to dry.
Once the Texture Paste was completely dry I coloured the tag with walnut stain Distress Ink and then flicked the tag with water to add blotches to the backdrop.
I added touches of pewter Gilding Wax to the top of the gold Texture Paste and lightly touched over the Paste with black soot Distress Ink. I also added some random machine stitching to the tag to add further interest and texture to the background.
Wooden birds have been added to my machine stitched lines along with Remnant Rubs Words and Remnant Rubs Numbers.
The finishing touch is a dimensional flower coloured with walnut stain and gold spray.

    you always make it sound so easy! Lovely addition of paste, and then aced it with the gilding, it really looks great. Super impressed by the crisp rub ons, aren't they lovely.

    OH BOY I just FB this, it's a glorious golden tag, yappers, I loooove it, I'm going to try and make some gold paste, I need that:O). Okay your background is gorgeous with all the lovely flicking, aahh those gorgeous flowers, love the shading you added to them, brilliant idea, see I would have just left them gold, they look fantastic now, and the sweet birds, thanks:O), I don't know where you got that flower but its beautiful and much more so after you added the stain and spray. I love your attention to detail, it makes your art very exciting, thanks so much for sharing and inspiring me..
