STEAMPUNK CHRISTMAS

I've created a steampunk Christmas Card this week using the STEAMPUNK CHRISTMAS A5 stamp plate by Sam Poole from Creative Expressions.
My background is the Snowfall Background by Justrite stamped with broken china ink, spritzing with a little water to blend the colour.
I have added four layers to my tree for dimension and added watch parts to the top of my tree to add to the steampunk feel. I have also added a mini lightbulb (available from Sam Poole Creative Studios) to the bottom of my tree to act as the pot. I stamped Merry Christmas into the central panel again using Distress Ink.
Two wooden snowflakes have been added to the top right, coloured with broken china ink, adding a mini sprocket gear to the centres.
To add further interest to my card I decorated a large wooden heart with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel, colouring the enamel with Cosmic Shimmer Ultra Thick Embossing Crystals. Whilst the enamel was still hot I stamped the Christmas Tree from the Steampunk Christmas stamp plate into the enamel to give wonderful texture. I rubbed a little silver Paint Dabber over the raised areas to highlight and added a snowflake from Tim's idea-ology range.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
