Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012

I've never joined in Tim's tags before but decided to take a break from DT commitments to make something just for me so I decided on Tim's tag for March using his mosaic technique which you can find HERE.
I obviously will not divulge details as you can read Tim's link for all the information. However, I did put a little twist on mine, well I did have to make it individual to me so I added a little bunny cut from ColorCore Cardstock using the Mini Bunny and Bow set.
To add to the grungy feel I sanded the edges of my bunny and added a pink bow to coordinate with my butterfly.  I did not have the embossing powder Tim used so had to improvise and then coloured the edges of the wings with a little vintage photo Distress Ink to blend with my tag. I also added some fun bunny ears, I love these (from Retro Cafe Art) which I coloured with Distress Ink and added to the bottom of my tag.
To add a little more interest and dimension I have added SPRING to jump rings, printed on my computer and then Glossy Accents added to the centre.
I have added twine around the centre of my tag and add a trinket pin to the outside edge. This technique is really easy and fun, pop along and try it out for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by, Tracy x x
