A Winters WOYWW

It's December 1st and I am officially in the Christmas spirit especially with snow on the ground, snow always makes me want to curl up in front of the fire and watch a good film, but not today I'm off to Tatton Park later this afternoon to see the house decorated in all its glory for Christmas, just a shame it's so cold.  Anyway back to the reason we are all here, What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday......
I know, tidy freak at it again, not too much on my desk this morning apart from a couple of challenge pieces, one for The Stamp Attic which will be posted following this post and one for my Oh Alice Guest Designer slot on Saturday.  I'm trying to stay ahead of the game this week so that I can decorate my Christmas tree on Saturday, I love decorating the tree, takes me most of the day as I don't like to rush it.  When do you plan on decorating your house for Christmas?
I just had to take a picture of my garden yesterday (Tuesday) with all the snow on the ground, it was very cold but it does look picturesque especially when your indoors LOL.  If you would like to join in the fun of WOYWW then click HERE and you will automatically be transported to Julia's place for all the details and lots of wonderful craft spaces.  Enjoy the season, wherever you are, Tracy x x

  4. Immaculate desk as always...and that's a pretty piece on your mat. Is that a gazebo at the bottom of your garden? It has a beautiful shaped roof.

  5. Hi Tracy, tidy desk today. Well you could send me a little snow for a day or two. Haven't seen any since 1996. It is suppose to be in the 40's tonight, but I am afraid it still wouldn't last very long here in Florida. We don't get temps that low very often and then don't last long. Although I must say it sometimes gets pretty boring being WARM all the time.

  17. Remember, those of us who complain about tidy desks are simply jealous. I know I am. I'd love to be tidy and able to sit down and create without ten minutes of tidying first! Your desk is definitely making my eyes green!

    cheers, rachel #54

  20. Morning Tracy, A very neat and tidy desk again. Your garden looks beautiful with all that snow, there wasn't much snow down in South London only on the roof tops. I hope you have a great time decorating your tree, got to get mine. Have had Willow Twigs decorated for the last couple of years and my Children think I am a bit mean so might get a real one to keep them quiet. Lots of love and Hugs Jo.xxx*71*

  29. Oooh, pretty snow photo, Tracy, and needless to say, veerrrrry tidy desk! We usually put our tree up the weekend before Christmas, my birthday is first, so I try to hold onto my cards on the mantlepiece for as long as possible. Eventually, I'm overruled!!

  36. As one neat freak to another, I let mine get pretty bad this past week, but had to clean up so I could breathe. There's just something about neat and orderly. And your snow looks pretty. I usually have my house decorated and my cards addressed by this time, but I'm at least a week late. And I DID take my time this year! #3

  37. Lovely snowy scene and such a calm and orderly desk too! We're decorated the outside of the house with lights and the arrangement by the door, although the door wreath is on my desk still! The Christmas tree is bought and is in it's stand soaking up the water, I'll decorate it at the weekend. The wreath is up above the fireplace and the boxes of decorations are at the bottom of the basement stairs ready to come up. It'll all be done by the end of this weekend.

  38. Hi Tracy

Hope you enjoyed your day at the park! It's nice to see a tidy dek. I'm not sure when we'll start the decorating - it is never too early for me but we're all under the weather so it's whenever we're feeling up to it!
