Continuing with my series of cards using Tim Holtz Cling Foam Stamps.
This time around I have used a more traditional palette. If you would like to see my previous posts with this stamp set you can find them HERE and HERE and HERE.
I began by painting the background of my white card with Antique Linen Distress Paint and then dried the layer of paint with a heat tool. I then placed the Christmas Layering Stencil onto the painted background and applied Fired Brick Distress Ink over the stencil. I did not dry this layer of ink.
I placed the Cling Bauble Stamp onto my Stamp Platform and then inked the stamp lightly with Fired Brick Distress Oxide Ink and stamped the Bauble onto the background. I then inked the stamp once again, but this time around the edges only and then stamped a second time on top of the first stamped image.
The same process was repeated for all three baubles.
I added a seasonal Quote Chip and star embellishments to add further interest.
I added dimension to one of the baubles by adding a second stamping, adding cotton threads behind for added texture.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a lovely weekend.

Lovely and so like the way you used the cord behind the bauble, unusual and really draws the eye.

It is so beautiful Tracy, the simplicity of the baubles, onto the Christmas words , still shining through, and the sign of wishes, to the receiver !! So lovely with the two stars !!

ps...Congrats on your new stamps! thought i read that on FB? xx
SO pretty! I am loving all the variations that you have come up with using this stamp set. I really love how you keep a monotone color palette and how the words are faded into the background... Yet there is still dimension. Beautiful!
