I have really enjoyed working with these colours for the past few weeks for my PanPastel DT pieces. Once again the background was brayered with Ripe Persimmon Distress Paint, applying light pressure so that some of the white areas are still visible in the background.
I then placed a stencil onto the brayered background and blended Magenta, Magenta Shade and Magenta Extra Dark over the circles. I also added some random stamping using a Carabelle Stamp and Black Archival Ink.
I die cut part of a circle from the edge of the decorated piece and then matted it onto a piece of card and stamped the sentiment.
For added interest I also included some tissue tape and added definition to some of the circles using Black Coarse Pearl Medium PanPastel.
From this picture you can see all the layers and the shading achieved with the PanPastels. I also added some scratchy lines with the edge of an old credit card and Ripe Persimmon Distress Paint.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x x

ReplyDeleteFabulous design. Loving the colours and shading. Xx
ReplyDeleteThe definition achieved on some of the circles is remarkable, truly brining a 3d effect to them. Another stunning creation.
