Rustic Seasonal Card

There is still time to enter the draw for my blog candy, the winner will be drawn late on New Years Eve. You can leave a comment HERE for your chance to win.

Now onto this weeks DT creation for Artistic Outpost.
I have used the SNOWY WOODS plate this week to create a rustic Christmas card.
The background has been decorated using Tim Holtz Hollybough layering stencil, applying White Embossing Paste through the stencil and then colouring with Distress Stains.
I added a small poinsettia cut from Kraft Glassine to add to the rustic feel.
To highlight the texture from the embossing I also applied Wax over the raised areas.
I also die cut a tree to add to my card for further interest again coloured with Distress Stains, with touches of background stamping added to the tree.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
