Foxgloves

Time for this weeks DT creation for Creative Expressions and this week I have used the fabulous That Special Touch Foxglove Mask.
I applied Cosmic Shimmer Royal Gold Texture Paste through the mask onto my canvas board and then applied a wash of paint over the top.
A foxglove has also been added to a mini canvas but this time using Wendy Vecchi's White Embossing Paste. I also applied Pewter Metallic Gilding Wax over the top of each foxglove.
Touches of random text were also added to the canvas using the background stamp from Tim Holtz Classics 9 Stamp Set using sepia Archival Ink. Dimensional flowers were added using the Heartfelt Creations Delicate Aster, adding four layers to each flower for added depth. A heart shell button has been added to the centre of each.
WISH has been added using Alpha Parts, applying Gilding Wax to the top to blend with the background of my canvas. I have also included a resin flower for further interest.
Chitchat stickers have also been added along with a few metal flower embellishments.

    Hi Tracey, absolutely love this canvas, so beautiful. The subtle colours work so well. I have been following your blog for some time and you are inspirational, so much so that I have bought some cheap canvases and chipboard shapes and ordered some texture paste to have a go. Time to deviate from cards and scrapbooking and try something different. Did you use distress paints or acrylic paint to create this effect?
