BOARDWALK

I've used the fabulous BOARDWALK plate once again from Artistic Outpost to create a card.
I wanted to use summery colours for this piece so opted for picked raspberry, spiced marmalade and spun sugar for the backdrop, applied to a non-stick craft sheet, spritzed with water, mopping up the beads of ink with the card stock.
I added machine stitching to the edges of my card along with some mesh material to the central panel for added interest and texture.
The focal images were stamped onto Distress Ink coloured card using black Archival Ink, distressing the edges with a paper distresser and adding to coordinated card stock. I also added 'SUMMER' using wooden letters coloured with Distress Ink.
I stamped the shells with Archival Ink and added BOARDWALK stamped in the background.

    love the images of the ladies in bathing suits and on the boardwalk. They work realy well with your lovely summery colors. I wish summer would come here as well .... sitting here with my winter jumpers on, refusing to turn on the central heating, because, well, it is summer ....
