1st of November, wow, Christmas will be here before we know it! The beginning of a new month, time for a new REFERRAL THEME with Artistic Outpost and this time around it is ANYTHING GOES using any of your Artistic Outpost images.
The MIDWINTER plate was perfect for my seasonal card. It's that time of year when Christmas cards are needed in abundance for my friends and family members so this was the ideal opportunity to add another to my collection.
I cut the vintage cabinet die from white card along with the frame. I embossed the frame with the snowflurries texture fade and coloured with faded jeans Distress Ink, adding highlights with silver paint dabber. The inside panel showcases the wonderful reindeer again colouring the top area with broken china ink, spritzing with water and adding faded jeans to the edges for definition. I have added a little broken china ink to his feet to ground him.
Two baubles have been added to the top corner, cut from white card using a Spellbinders die and colouring with broken china and faded jeans Distress Inks. I have added the wonderful reindeer to each bauble to echo the focal image in my frame. I have added bows to each bauble tied with Bakers Twine, adding a star and tree pewter embellishment for added dimension and interest.
The wonderful sentiment "Enjoy The Beauty Of The Season" has been added to my central panel and the wonderful text from the same stamp set added to the top corner of my card.
Two Chitchat stickers have been added to the bottom corner, coloured with a little broken china ink. I have also added a huge pearl embellishment set against some Bakers Twine to the bottom of my focal image.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
