Steampunk Christmas

Time for my weekly creation for Creative Expressions, this time around using the fabulous Steampunk Christmas A5 Stamp Plate by Sam Poole.
My background has been created with Distress Inks broken china adding faded jeans around the edges and spritzing with water to give that snowy/icy feel.
The central tree has been stamped with broken china ink and for added dimension and texture I have added mini sprocket gears and watch parts. For further interest I also added a layer of Clear Rock Candy.
I added a large and two small gears to add to that steampunk feel along with a metal charm "don't open 'til Dec. 25" to the top of the gear.
I added lightbulbs (available from Sam Poole Creative Studios) as pots, perfect for a steampunk Christmas card.
I added a game spinner to the top of my tree and the fabulous sentiment stamped with manganese blue archival ink.
I added two trees either side of the central tree, stamped with broken china Distress Ink, spritzing with a little water.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
