Christmas Pop Up

Before I start I would like to offer some BLOG CANDY to all my followers, and those simply visiting for the first time.  Purely because I am feeling generous this Friday and to say a huge THANK YOU for all your kind comments that you have all been leaving since I started my blog! Simply leave a comment on this post and I will draw a winner on Sunday.
There is a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Spiral Blossom Three, Memory Box Curved Antlers Die and a Sizzix Alterations Die Bewitching Hour.

Thanks to Shelly Hickox I now have a new addiction Pop 'n' Cuts, they give more interest to my card designs which is great and offer wonderful dimension.
I have created a Christmas pop up card for my DT creation for 100 Proof Press usng the Tall Conifer, Spruce and Spry Evergreen Branch.
I embossed the front of my card with Tim's snowflurries texture fade, colouring with broken china Distress Ink for that icy frosty feel.  For a little more interest I cut 25 into the front using the cargo stencil number set. I cut two circles from white card and added the tall conifers to each, colouring with Distress Ink and spritzing with water. I added the snowflake trim from the On The Edge snowflurries die. For further dimension I also included an ornate and pearl snowflake along with the sentiment Happy Christmas.
I added the pop up to the centre of my card adding an ornate snowflake cut using a Memory Box Die and added JOY cut using the word play die, colouring with broken china ink. For a decorative edge I used the On The Edge Snowflurries die once again.
I love the dimension from the pop up and it adds just a little more interest to the inside of a card and the possibilities are endless. I stamped the Evergreeen Branch with faded jeans ink randomly around the bottom of the card and stamped the Spruce with black archival and sponged the edges with broken china ink, adding three small pearls to one edge. I used a snowflake stencil on the top of my card, sponging through the stencil with broken china and faded jeans ink.
For a little more dimension I also included a Christmas Muse Token to the bottom corner of my Spruce. These are definitely addictive, I am off to make a Halloween piece now using the Pop 'n' Cuts!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Tracy x x
