The background of my tag has been created using Distress Stains, peeled paint, picket fence, faded jeans and broken china. I applied the Distress Stains to my non stick craft sheet and then swiped the tag through the inks, continuing this process until my tag was covered with ink.
This is what my tag looked like before I added any detail, embellishments or dimension. Once my tag was inked I then embossed using the STEAMPUNK Texture Fade and added a little walnut stain Distress Ink to the outside edges.
My next step was to colour a piece of manila cardstock with Distress Stains in the same way as I did to colour my tag and this coloured piece was used for all my stamped pieces. I added a little detail to the outside edge of my tag in the form of mini gears cut from a piece of the coloured manila cardstock using the Mini Gears die and adhering to the outside edge using Glossy Accents. This is what my tag looked like before I added any detail, embellishments or dimension. Once my tag was inked I then embossed using the STEAMPUNK Texture Fade and added a little walnut stain Distress Ink to the outside edges.
I then proceeded to stamp several balloon images onto my coloured piece of manila cardstock, cut out and added to the top of my balloon, giving fabulous dimension and interest to my tag. Each piece was also embossed with the Steampunk Texture Fade to coordinate with my background.
A Mini Gear along with a Mini Gear Sprocket and Game Spinner has been added to the top of my balloon. To give a little more interest I added a Word Band, secured in place with a little neutral twine and stapled in place with the Tiny Attacher.
To balance everything out I also added a few embellishments to the bottom of my tag in the form of Mini Gears, Mini Gear Sprocket and Mini Paper Clips along with Chitchat Stickers.
To complete I added some ribbon which I coloured with coordinated Distress Stains.
