Heartfelt Greetings

Another weekly piece for my Creative Expressions DT using the fabulous Sentimental Art by Wendy Vecchi, combined with a HEART Art Part from Dress Forms and More.
The background was created with torn paper from an old vintage book, I applied the torn pieces randomly, stamped the fabulous lace background with black Archival Ink and sponged with Distress Ink brushed corduroy.
I also added the lace background to my heart Art Part and again coloured with brushed corduroy to match my background. I added a black heart for contrast. I added a Philosophy Tag with BREATH engraved as I thought this was rather appropriate for my heart card.
I added my sentiment "Within your heart keep one secret place where DREAMS may go" to complete, again very appropriate for my card and perfect for Valentines.

    Great card, on the blog it looks blue rather than black, but fabulous anyway. I really like how the lacy background looks stamped on the old book page.

    This is terrific also on my computer it looks blue not black and I was thinking that the colour was brilliant, so it looks just as good to me in blue as it does to you in black xx

    I also was going to say I love the colour of blue on the paper, it doesn't matter what colour it is as I love the little details you added. A beautiful old world charm to it.
