The Beauty Of Dreams And Blowing My Own Trumpet

I have been using the colours over at The Play Date Cafe as my inspiration for a card this morning using images from Darkroom Door.
This is our weekly colour inspiration and not ones that I can say I have ever used before so this was an interesting challenge, if only to see how the colours worked together and I am quite surprised that they all blend beautifully.
My card is 6" x 6" and I have cut panels 1.5" in width and 6" in length to fit my card and embossed each strip with an embossing folder and sanded the raised areas. I have added a stamped floral image from Darkroom Door which I love and works perfectly with this weeks colour palette. My lime flower was from a blog candy win from Gerri, THANK YOU just what I need for this creation. All my stamping including the sentiment, again from Darkroom Door have been stamped onto BASICGREY papers.
I have distressed all the edges to my card and stamped images using Tim's paper distresser.

I also had to take this opportunity to BLOW MY OWN TRUMPET, well someone has to LOL.  I was absolutely thrilled to receive fantastic news at the weekend, I am now officially a new member of the CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS Design Team, they are a fabulous manufacturer and distributor of the latest craft products and I am looking forward to working with the team.  I would like to thank everyone at Creative Expressions for this opportunity.
