Good morning WOYWW'ers, another week passes by and it's time once again to show our desks in all their glory. If you are not sure what I am talking about then pop over to the Stamping Ground where Julia has all the details. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who left a comment last week, they are all much appreciated. I actually made it around all the desks last week and really enjoyed by snoop around whilst watching Wimbledon.
I have managed a little more crafting this week and had a break from the gardening for a few days. On my desk this week are a few challenge pieces. The far left is the Sunday Stamper challenge, next to that (the bird cage) is the Studio L3 challenge and then the following two red pieces are for The Play Date Cafe challenge. On the far left is a gardening catalogue and my very first art journal. I attended an art journaling class on Saturday at the Cubby Hole with Sarah Anderson where we made and decorated a PANTS book and envelopes to include within our journals. Below are my pages that we completed at the workshop.
It was great fun just having a day to play with no distractions. I am quite liking this journaling at the moment but a little more practice is needed to perfect my pages LOL.
These are the other two pages I have completed in my journal again both for challenges. One for the Stampotique challenge which was "what does freedom mean to you" and the other was for The Play Date Cafe challenge which was to use the colours pink, red and white.
This week I have also managed to sort out all my papers, which before I started were in a chaotic mess but are now all sorted into colours which is working much better, I can now find exactly what I am looking for which makes a change, how long it will last no one knows LOL.
Well that is everything on, and around my work/craft desk this week, I'm off for a good old snoop, so why not join me and pop over to Julia's place and join in the fun. Have a great Wednesday everyone, Tracy x x
