If I Had Wings

I have a tag for you this week for my Creative Expressions DT using the fabulous Butterfly Girl and the Bubble Wrap stamp plates by Sam Poole.

I stamped the bubble wrap with a Clear Resist pad and embossed with clear embossing powder. Vintage photo Distress Ink was then blended over the tag, the ink resists the ink and gives a fabulous background.

I stamped the Butterfly Girl onto an old gardening book page, cut out, coloured with Distress Ink and added to my tag.  For added dimension and interest I included a few metal flowers and a small bird to her dress and a flower to her hair.

I stamped the banner with black Archival Ink and added the sentiment "If I had wings....." from the Art Sayings stamp plate. I added some gorgeous ribbon along with some twine and a wooden button.

I stamped the rose onto my gardening book page along with the bird, cut out, coloured with Distress Inks and added to my tag, adding a metal flower to the centre of my rose.

For further interest I have added white highlights to my stamped flowers and included imagine, believe, and dreams from the Chitchat stickers.
