On My Travels

The May Referral Theme over at Artistic Outpost is TRAVEL and I am travelling to Paris this time around using the Paris Exposition plate.
My background is decorated with PARIS paper tape, simply applied in strips to white card stock. I cut a circular aperture from the centre using my Spellbinders die, the circle of which I have used in my second card.  I cut a circle from white card and stamped the Eiffel Tower in coffee Archival ink, adding 1889 to one side along with a little more tape "Tour Eiffel".
I cut the filmstrip frames from white card and aged a little with vintage photo ink adding a little fired brick to the edges.  I stamped the handsome gentlemen from the Paris Exposition plate to the central panels and again aged with a little vintage photo ink.  For a little more interest and dimension I added a PARIS charm stapled into place.
I stamped Paris Exposition onto white card and coloured with fired brick ink adding vintage photo to the edges. I used my alphabet blocks to add TRAVEL to the bottom corner.
I have cut the fleur de lis from white card using Tim's Alterations mini die, adding two layers for dimension and colouring with fired brick ink.
As I had the circle remaining from my first card I decided to use in my second card, embossing the edges with gold embossing powder and adding an Eiffel tower charm for more interest. I stamped the Eiffel Tower to the bottom corner with coffee Archival Ink and then sponged my card with butterscotch Adirondack Ink.
I cut two smaller circles from white card and stamped my images with Archival Ink and aged with vintage photo Distress Ink, adding gold embossing powder to the edges.
Paris Exposition has been stamped onto white card and coloured with fired brick ink. The edges of the decorated piece have also been embossed with gold embossing powder.
TRAVEL has been added to the top of my card cut from white card using the Alphabet Chip Block die, colouring with vintage photo and black soot ink.

Thanks for stopping by, Tracy x x
